As a setting we work with the requirements within the Special Educational Needs and Disability code of practise: 0 to 25 years.

Through observations and interactions with children and parents, we ensure that the provision of the setting meets the needs of the individual child. We are in contact with outside agencies that can support your child further should we feel the need after discussions with yourselves and your child’s key worker.

Hanborough Pre School are fortunate to have Charlotte Clifford as our Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator who is experienced in her role at the setting.

Ofsted commented: ‘Early intervention ensures that children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, or children in receipt of additional funding, have the targeted support that they need from the very start. Staff quickly work to identify what children's needs are and make adaptations in the environment.’
