Welcome to Hanborough Preschool
Starting preschool is an exciting milestone for both children and their families. We are an Ofsted Outstanding term-time only preschool for children aged 2–4 years, offering a warm, nurturing environment where every child can grow in confidence, independence and curiosity.
Our fun, friendly and fully qualified team will support your child from their very first day with us right through to the exciting transition to primary school.
At our preschool, children will:
- Make friends, learn and have fun in a safe, caring and stimulating environment
- Explore new skills, interests and the world around them at their own pace
- Discover the wonders of nature through our Forest School visits to Pinsley Woods and to our allotment
- Develop key learning, social and independence skills in preparation for school through our dedicated "Rising Fours" sessions.

Meet other parents and get involved
Hanborough Preschool is a registered charity and is run by a committee of parents-volunteers. Come to one of our committee meetings, where you can meet other parents and have a say in how it grows.
Join in on the fun
Every year we have events run by the staff and the pre-school committee so that your whole family can join in on the fun. Watch out for the dates in the newsletters for Easter Egg Rolling, Sports Day and Christmas Show and party.
