Charlotte
Manager / Designated Safeguarding Lead
Megan
Early Years Educator / Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
My name is Megan and I have been part of Hanborough Pre School since September 2021 after working as dental nurse for 10 years. I have lived in Long Hanborough for 5 years and enjoy the community spirit it holds and those quiet evenings after an exciting day.
I really enjoy working with younger children on a daily basis and watching how they develop within their time spent with us, it truly is amazing watching them grow and knowing I have been a tiny part of that makes me feel extremely proud.
In my spare time I love to cook and bake with my children and regularly prepare dinners on the weekend with my daughter for my family to enjoy. I also enjoy local quiz night with friends and other social outings.

Working at Hanborough Pre school is my first official role in childcare but I have previously gained experience volunteering at toddler groups alongside raising my four children. Hanborough Pre School allows me to combine my personal experience with professional practices, with a focus on creating a nurturing and rich learning environment for the children.
My interest in this field is fuelled by my love for sparking creativity and curiosity in children through engaging play activities. Understanding that each child possesses a unique imagination, I strive to provide an environment that allows them to explore, express, and expand their creativity freely.
I love working at Hanborough pre school because of the fulfilment it brings, the positive people around, and the dynamic fun-filled atmosphere that fills our Pre School.

Erin
Early Years Educator / SENDCO / Deputy Safeguarding Lead
Hi, I’m Erin! I first began my childcare journey in 2013, gaining my qualifications soon after leaving school. In 2019, I took a step away from childcare to work at a local hospital as an administrator, but having two children of my own resparked my love for helping children to learn and grow. I joined the team in April 2025 as an Early Years Educator, and I also support children and families in my roles as SENDCO and Deputy Safeguarding Lead. I’m passionate about creating a fun, safe and inclusive play environment where every child can feel happy, confident and thrive.

As a trustee and Administrator, with a background in Banking and Financial Management, I hope to bring precision and expertise to my work, ensuring a strong financial oversight and helping with strategic management. I am deeply involved in local initiatives, contributing my financial and organisational skills to strengthen other community groups serving on several committees as either a trustee or volunteer.
I aim to serve as administrator for Hanborough Pre-School, by supporting early childhood education through responsible financial stewardship. I also have an active role in the Hanborough Playing Fields Association, helping to maintain and develop local recreational spaces for the benefit of the community. My commitment to young people extends further as I am part of the leadership team in the local Rainbow and Brownie groups, helping , inspiring and guiding the next generation through engaging activities and mentorship.
