Safeguarding

The safety and well-being of our children is paramount to us and influences all  our practices at Hanborough Pre-School as it is everyone’s responsibility. In order to ensure that we comply with our responsibilities, a number of procedures and practices are in place.  All our policies for the setting can be found on our website or paper copies in our setting. These are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure they are in line with Government and Oxfordshire county council guidance.

All our staff, volunteers and committee hold Level 2 Generalist safeguarding training.

Claire Wade and Charlotte Clifford are our Designated Safeguarding Leads should you have any concerns.

Hanborough Pre-School is registered as an Early Years Provider with Ofsted.  Our settings reference number is 134440.  You can contact them regarding our latest Ofsted report, to make an enquiry or raise any concerns regarding our care: email: enquiries@ofsted.gov.uk, telephone: 0300 123 1231.

We maintain a ratio of adults within the setting that is inline with the safeguarding and welfare requirements. There are always 3-4 members of staff present during each session with an on duty designated safeguarding lead available during each session. All staff and volunteers hold full DBS checks that are checked annually along with regular staff supervisions.

It is vital that the staff and setting have up to date contact information for each child that attends. Please ensure if there is a change in contact details that the staff are informed.
